What a cool name for a park don't you think? Well, that's where Kelly and Chris decided they'd like their engagement shots done. It was a pretty cold day but, for two firefighters, what's a little cold? To further complicate things, the park was closed so we had a very limited portion of the area that we could access. Improvise, adapt and overcome right? For certain...we got it done.
I guess I've known Jen and Julia's dad for nearly 13 years. Just never knew them. Through the magic of Facebook, she realized that we had a truckload of friends in common and noticed that i was a photographer. She sent me a note quite a while back and let me know what she would be coming up from Florida to visit her folks and wanted to see if I could schedule a time for some portraits. Much to the surprise of her folks, her sister came up from NC at the same time and we all made and afternoon out of it. The two little fellas made this round a blast.
You see what had happened right...I scheduled three weddings in one weekend. Saturday morning....Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. I don't know if I've really ever felt so overwhelmed. Hopping in the truck leaving on and en route off loaded the memory cards into the storage device.
Brad and Tessa...
Then Naadu and James...
Finally Amanda and Dimitri
There are very few material possessions I loved more than my Suburban. For the last four years, Lilly has been everywhere with me. However, the fuel prices have been high and she was a thirsty girl. Enter new truck. Lilly has been replaced with Berniece and getting 18mpg is nearly three times better than I could ever get. We've already gone on a couple of photo jobs together and now it was time for a photoshoot. I have already received word from the dealership that Lilly has a new home.
